#BoycottManekaGandhi trends as Indian Veterinary Association protests against BJP MP

The Indian Veterinary Association is protesting against animal rights activists, environmentalists, and BJP MP Maneka Gandhi for allegedly misbehaving with a doctor. The Association has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to seek action against Gandhi.

#BoycottManekaGandhi has been trending on Twitter since yesterday as people came in support of the vets. 

Sharing the Indian Veterinary Association letter to PM, filmmaker Ashok Pandit tweeted, “@Manekagandhibjp has been calling up individuals all over the country and threatening them of dire consequences by levelling false charges against them. It’s high time that she should be asked to retire. #BoycottManekaGandhi”
