It’s the 4th day of the Sociotab and Eventlope’s Summer Metro Fair,2022 which is currently going on at Hussainganj Metro Station.
For its Day 4 activities, unprivileged kids from the Sarthak Foundation were invited to participate in the workshop of the art exhibition by Dr. Sukhvir Sanghal of fine arts with wash technique by Dr. Stuti Singhal.
And later a medical camp was also organized for the well-being of the kids of the Sarthak Foundation.
With a vision to have Happy Empowered Children, Sarthak Foundation reaches out to children between the ages of 3 and 18 years belonging to Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDG) and impacts their lives through education, skills, and value-based life. Sarthak Foundation embarked on this mission in 2013 with just 6 children under a tree in a slum to cover 1800 children. They now plan to reach out to 5100 children and college going girls in FY22-23
These free medical camps are set up with the sacred aim to bring awareness amongst the deprived population of the country who have no access to basic healthcare services or knowledge about the diseases they are suffering from.
The objectives of the medical camp are to provide free medical advice to unfortunate people and refer them for specialized treatment or surgery whenever it is required. These camps make sure people are getting the healthcare at the right time, and seeing the doctor early enough before a small health problem turns serious.
Tomorrow is the 5th and the final day of the event in which we have an interesting career counseling session scheduled and a free metro ride for the kids to enjoy.
