The Indian Table Tennis player, Manika Batra bough on onboard by the sportswear brand Adidas, to empower women to realise their dreams, cheering for women to break barriers and create an impact in the world of sports.
Their partnership is focussing on the aim to drive credibility and inclusivity in sports, further fanning the aspirations of upcoming women sportspersons across the country.
Manika Batra is the first Indian women to win gold in table tennis in CWG, she is the first Indian player to enter the Top 10 of Women’s Doubles and Top 15 of Mixed Doubles of ITTF World Rankings,& First Indian women to enter the top-50 of the ITTF Rankings. As she abides by her, “Impossible is nothing” attitude, Batra joined Addidas’ rich roster of women athletes, which consisted of performers like Hima Das, Mirabai Chanu, Nikhat Zareen, etc.

Manika Batra has added many feathers in her wings including, Arjuna Award, 2018, and Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna,2020. She has won a cord of gold medals in Commonwealth Games, Gold Coast’18, Soth Asian Games, Gold Coast’18. All this earned her the moniker ‘India’s Golden Girl’.
