Uttar Pradesh Institute of Forensic Sciences has now formed a new list of diploma and certificate courses that will start from this coming June-July month. The process of recruiting for the sanctioned posts will be starting soon too in the institute.
For the eligibility and selection process for the educational and non-academic posts, the rules of the current cadre are being prepared based on the norms of National Forensic Science University plus the rules of the state government. A high-level committee has been formed to make the draft available regarding the proposed rules.
It should be noted that around 131 posts of academic along with non-academic cadre have been created by the government. The appointments on these posts will be made on the basis of deputation and also through direct recruitment. Out of these, the process of filling up the required posts as soon as possible is under process.
The decision to start the courses was taken on Monday after the second board meeting of the governing body that operates the institute. The meeting took place at the command centre of Lok Bhawan by ACS home, Awanish Awasthi.
Awasthi also stated that the government has been making an efforts to start diploma and certificate courses from June-July at another building till the construction of the institute’s building is completed.
“Instructions have been given to prepare an action plan for starting teaching work in UPSIFS,” the officer said. He also said that instructions were given to expedite the work of preparation of rules for the selection of educational and non-academic cadres of UPSIFS.
