Plan Your This Year’s Summer Vacation To These Places In India

Summers are already here, the time when scorching heat will mess up your daily life. In merely a 1-month summer vacation will also start, so it’s time to get your itinerary and plan an amazing vacation to offbeat places in India that many of us might not hear of. Plus,  2 years after corona things are finally getting back to normal. So we have covered a few places where your summer vacation will be lit:

Udaipur

Udaipur is still an all-time favorite around the world for Indian or non-Indian travelers. Once you are here with your best company you have the luxury to explore the best culture with awesome food. If you like water, you can take a ride on a boat in the tranquil Lake Pichola while exploring the glorious culture of Rajasthan at the City Palace. Also, if you are into fashion, Udaipur has the best  Rajasthani apparel and handicrafts. The iconic city has many amazing surprises for you and your loved ones.

The Vintage Car Museum, authentic street food by the Fateh Sagar Lake, Sajjangarh Palace, and enjoying relaxing lakeside dinners with magical views. Lal maas and daal baati are some of the best food Udaipur has to offer, don’t miss them once you are there.

Bandhavgarh National Park

Bandhavgarh National Park is a nesting place for almost 250 species of birds, 80 species of butterflies, and reptiles, to name a few. Experience the magical nature front and centre as you are trying to spot wild animals in their habitat. Situated in Satpura and Vindhyan ranges, this place can be your new escape from the city hustle. Visitors will experience a dry safari at Bandhavgarh.

If interested you can go plan a trip with your friends. Go and try your luck. Please don’t forget the basic jungle etiquette, instructions, and guidelines you need to follow to experience wildlife without hurting the animals.

Kumarakom

A place where you wake up under a canopy of coconut trees. If you like you can cruise through a lagoon on a bamboo raft. The backwaters of Kumarakom will leave you wanting more. Lake Vembanad gently caresses the coastline of the Kumarakom area, making a beautiful landscape featuring virgin backwaters, swaying palm trees, and iconic houseboats.

The best way to make the most of a place like Kumarakom is to experience a luxury houseboat, yes one of the unique factors of this place. Besides that, you can visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, ride a fishing boat, try watersports at the magical Vembanad Lake, and get tipsy with a glass of toddy at a local bar.

Mashobra

You must have been to Mussoorie or Shimla for wintercation but this time try visiting Mashobra. A quiet, enchanting place just 45 minutes away from Shimla. Mashobra is famous for its ambiance, arena filled with lovely orchards, beautiful luxury hotels, dense oak forest with valley views.

For all those shopholic, must-visit Tibetan Handicraft Market, soak in the colonial charm at the small church nestled in the forest. Looking for adventure, take a trek to Shali Tibba or Chharabra Village. Mashobra also provides rafting facilities near the Tattapani river along with paragliding.
