Every year every season comes with new names, styles, and concepts that indicate what will be the upcoming changes in the industry and this time.
According to the regular fashion calendar, fall collections are usually showcased in the first quarter of the year and the spring collections are showcased in the month of September. So, here we have brought some of the best highlights from this year’s Lakme Fashion Week.
Rahul Mishra
The designer displayed his latest collection at quite an impressive yet distinguished place i.e Italian embassy in New Delhi. In a pure Rahul Mishra style, the collection was a celebration of whimsical florals and very detailed embroidery work.

The textures were created with the help of ruffles on gossamer-light materials. The whole collection was based on a powder-hued palette to infuse summer vibes.
Kaveri
The collection was like a breath of air, especially at the start of the summer/spring season. Every outfit has calm, tranquil, and easy on the eyes. Lace and delicate prints on linen were giving a whimsical sense to the entire collection.

Tiered dresses, trousers paired with cropped blouses, frill sleeves along with tiny ruffles were the centre of attention.
Pankaj & Nidhi
Hyperfeminine silhouettes were the main foundation of Pankaj and Nidhi this season’s collection. The skater dresses with leg-of-mutton sleeves and delicate blouses in whispy organza paired with flowing trousers underneath gave a unique impression.

It will be ideal for those girls who love a good barbie style. Also, showstopper Sanjana Sanghi strut the runway with 3D florals dotting the candy-hued silhouettes, the line-up was shimmery.
Shantanu & Nikhil
The collection was a concept-heavy performance named ‘Nomad’, and it incorporates the word perfectly. Aztec prints were crafted on toughened structures, which gave the style that the iterations would be hard to weather.

There was nothing fragile and quiet about the outfits. The message was clear-cut and intense. It will hook you in with its armour-like structures, and huge, yet inspired fringes that protected the body.
