The ongoing Sociotab & Eventlope’s “Summer Metro Fair” a 5 Days Summer Workshop Cum Art-Exhibition at Hussainganj Metro Station has finally came to its end.
Kids from Sarthak Foundation were invited to learn how wash technique is used in conjunction with lines made by a pen or pencil that define and outline, while the wash provides color, depth, and volume.

For its final and 5th-day art workshop on wash, art technique was done to teach underprivileged kids from Sarthak Foundation how the technique works along with a quite interesting session on career counseling by Dr. Nandini( Assistant professor at Amity University and clinical psychologist ).
“We wanted to organize something where kids can actually learn, grow and discover what they like. Real talent lies under places we generally tend to ignore. We are hoping such an exhibition may help in highlighting these kids and make their future bright“
Neha Mathur,Founder,Eventlope
Later a session with WICCI UP entertainment and media council members also arrived at the event and interacted with the kids.

“The main aim behind the exhibition was to introduce how the wash art technique works especially to kids who don’t have access to proper resources. Medical camps were also organized to make them aware of how to take care of themselves at growing age. We want kids to have a great time in summer as schools are officially closed and discover their hidden talents”
Priyadarshi Shastri ,Co-Founder, Sociotab
For its final activity, all the kids enjoyed a free metro ride.

The 5-day event was supported by WICCI UP Entertainment and Media Council, Khare Financial Services, and Wheelchair Cricket India Association (WCIA) by providing refreshments for kids and arranging various music performers for the inauguration function.
