The much-awaited Academy Award witnessed in-house celebration with star-studded red carpet this year. With Hollywood’s leading men bringing their perfectly tailored suits on the Oscars red carpet. This time celebs have upgraded their style game with new cooler, more modern vibes via vibrant colors and unconventional silhouettes. No place for usual black suits this season.

When it comes to red carpet star Leslie Odom Jr., whose suit was inspired by the Oscars itself, wore a gold Brioni suit made in jacquard fabric with real 24-karat gold-threaded into it.

Colman Domingo set the tongue blazing in a vibrant-pink Versace suit with a streamlined shape and chivalric gold jewelry to go with it, making it more of a look straight from the runway. Quite a tough look to rock on the red carpet.

The night’s more demure looks held their own, too. Daniel Kaluuya wore a Bottega Veneta all-black suit with a chic necklace by Cartier in pearl-sized diamonds.

Meanwhile Lakeith Stanfield, in Saint Laurent, rebuked the suit entirely and wore ’70s inspired black jumpsuit with an oversized white collar topped with groovy shades.
Overall, this evening (and awards season in general) saw male stars play with traditional red carpet codes. And we’re so glad that they did.
