Meet Vijaya Tiwari a Graphologist and a Forensic Expert by Profession.
Currently, she is working as an Executive Director with Tathya Wing Federation as a certified graphologist and had analyzed more than 1000 samples till date.
We sat down with Vijaya Tiwari and tried to understand more about the topic and were left in splits after delving into a deeper conversation with her about the connection between our writing and our personality.
So, let’s go and explore some more secrets about our personality that we are unaware of.
Graphology is not such a common topic, how and when did you realize that you are going to make your career in this particular field?
I did my Master’s in Forensic Science, we had a subject Document Examination under that we studied graphology and since then I didn’t look back. I explored this subject and found that it has promising outcomes. This subject has the power to change the entire psychological aspect and personality of a person. This was more than enough to convince me to take this mainstream as my career. Here I am today, A Graphologist who has mastered this science and changed the lives of thousands of people.
Graphology helps in knowing someone’s personality, and you have mastered the art, how has graphology impacted your personality?
Well, this is really a very nice question. Graphology has brought a number of positive changes to my personality. Be it my temperament issue or overthinking the problem. I have evolved a lot. I successfully manifested positivity in my life. I recommend everyone to take this analysis at least once in their life to see the miraculous positive change and make themselves a better person in all terms.
How do you inspire your students to study Graphology as a subject?
Through handwriting analysis, we can quickly discover the needs, expectations, and nature of the people we interact with. We understand them at a deeper level and therefore we would approach them differently, leading to more harmony in our relationships. Everybody embraces unique handwriting. And it comprises numerous distinctive information about them. For instance, anger, sadness, dominance, and life incident causing behavioral traits, etc. With the help of personality evaluation through Graphology, a person can discover numerous genetic factors accountable for their habits and personality. I always explain the essence of graphology to my students and they get motivated easily and my many students are successful graphologists who are working great in their region.
Can you mention a few insights for our audience that they can unleash, through their handwriting?
Yes, I would like to mention a few traits like those who write with very high pressure in such a way that their words get indented in the next page are people who have strong immunity and our high willed people whereas light pressure writing represents weak immunity and a weak will power.
The second example is of letter ‘t’ if u draw your ‘t’ bar art upper side you are blessed with confidence and high self-esteem while ‘t’ bar at low level means low self-esteem issues and the list goes on.
Also, enlighten our audience on different areas where graphology is useful and can be applied.
Graphology has a very wide application. It can be used in various areas like a recruitment tool for selecting the right candidate, fighting psychological problems, relationship compatibility, criminology, counseling, child development, knowing yourself, understanding clients, etc.
While studying the topic I came across this term, ‘Graphotherapy’, which is a curative offshoot of handwriting analysis, tell us more about it.
The best part of graphology is it does not talk only about problems it talks about solutions too. Yes, you are right I am talking about Graphotherapy, through graphotherapy you can troubleshoot your problem just by bringing the right changes in your handwriting. For example, there is a particular trait or stroke that reveals your stubborn nature if you continuously write with the same stroke you will remain stubborn on the other hand if you change that stroke you can get rid of your stubborn attitude in nature.
So basically graphotherapy is a curative offshoot of handwriting analysis. You can change self-limiting attitudes and behavior. By making conscious changes in handwriting one can bring desired subconscious changes within yourself.
I was going through one of your articles in which you mentioned that nearly everyone has at least one sign of depression in their writing. Can you throw some more light on this for our audience?
Self-hated. Sometimes, an individual’s extreme displeasure with himself can drive him to suicide. In graphology, the dislike for oneself and the sense of worthlessness, which powers the force behind suicide, is seen in a few strokes in handwriting.
You all need to check that if you don’t write by dropping your last letter at the end or making your alphabet d with claws if you cut your signature or have a wavy underscore below your signature.
This is alarming and you all need to stay alert as these all are signs of depression and suicidal tendencies.
You are also a forensic expert by profession, I am very curious to know is there any similarity between the two professions or they are completely different?
Well, graphology is part of forensics and is no different from this subject. Graphology is a crucial tool used in criminal profiling and makes my work easier in terms of understanding the mind and personalities of criminals. There are times when we don’t have much evidence to break through the case, their graphology is very helpful.
Can you tell us about any particular forensic case that has intrigued you the most or has left a deep impact on you?
I was analyzing the handwriting of a girl aged 16 she was very quiet and used to stay within herself. Her parents approached me for graphotherapy. While analyzing I could see so much pressure and depression in her handwriting. Before counseling her I counseled her parents but they couldn’t understand the seriousness of the situation. Just after a month, I got a call from them stating their daughter tried to commit suicide. It was very heart-wrenching and for days I kept on thinking about that girl. Finally, it took 3 months but that girl got back her new life. She evolved herself and seeing her evolving was the best thing. The amount of solace I got was incomparable.
You prepare write-ups for many different newspapers, what approach do you follow while structuring your content for them?
How can you help someone you do not know? Most of us claim we know ourselves but the truth is many of us don’t. An analysis of your handwriting can reveal in detail your personality, your strength, and weaknesses. It can also reveal your behavior and the reasons behind them. It uncovers your psychological and intellectual profile. When I write articles my main aim remains the same to extend the message as clear as I can. My message remains the same that mental health is equally important as physical health. Don’t remain silent. Speak up for yourself without the fear of being judged. In every article of mine, I try to convey the essence and advantages of graphology.
